Central locking on the Alfa 156: Problem solving

Symptoms: Key does not open the locks remotely. Alarm still working.
Things to try

1. Check battery/contacts in key
   • These are working if you see the red led flash when you push the key
2. Try several pushes on key button (rationale = key out of sequence on receiver)
3. Enable and then re-enable alarm source
4. Disconnect battery (source source not verified])

Run through this sequence and your problem should be resolved. If not, The receiver may be broken: It is located near the rear windscreen, above the brake light source.
